Brent Bourgeois began performing on piano in Dallas clubs when he was only 13. He later moved to California with friend Larry Tagg and formed the pop band Bourgeois Tagg. The group released two albums on Island Records. Two of their singles hit Top 40, including the worldwide hit, "I Don't Mind At All."

Brent released two solo CDs on Virgin/Charisma Records.

His first Christian album, "Come Join the Living World," was released in 1995 and produced by Brent with Charlie Peacock. After spending eight years in Nashville, Tennessee songwriting, producing, and eventually becoming VP of A&R for Word Records, Brent moved his family back to the Sacramento area. He and his wife, Mary Ann, have four children: Adrian, 22; Delaney, 18; Corey, 16; and Natalie, 11. Brent is also an author, and his first published book, "Left Behind: Jesus in the Age of the American Empire," is available at the church or at Amazon.com.
