General Budget Fund

The General Budget is our money, our prayers, and our concerns translated into action.  It can only do what is made possible by the sacrifice and gifts of our members, friends, and constituents.

Contributions made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church, unless otherwise designated, are applied to the "General Budget".

The General Budget supports our staff, funds our many programs and ministries, and ensures that our doors are open every Sunday morning and during the week for worship, fellowship, classes, and prayer.

In addition, the General Budget supports mission and ministry projects outside of our local church. Both as a local congregation, and through the "connectional system" of our denomination, our collective giving enables us to spread the love of Jesus Christ throughout the world, provide poverty and disaster relief, educate clergy, and encourage cooperation with other faith communities.
