Associate Pastor, Part Time

Larry joined our staff July 1, 2009 after many years of service to United Methodist Churches in Southern California and Arizona as Pastor, Superintendent, Council Director and more. 

Chaplain

Rev. Sargent Wright (Sarge) is originally from Northern Illinois and Iowa and ministered as a US Navy Chaplain, serving in both WW2 and Korea.

Director of Christian Education; Preschool Director/Teacher

Lily has worked with young children for over 30 years and is thrilled to have the opportunity to direct and teach the children in St. Mark’s Preschool.

Hand Bell Choir Director

Contemporary Music Leader

Brent Bourgeois began performing on piano in Dallas clubs when he was only 13. He later moved to California with friend Larry Tagg and formed the pop band Bourgeois Tagg. The group released two albums on Island Records. Two of their singles hit Top 40, including the worldwide hit, "I Don't Mind At All."

Director of Finance

Patti has been on staff at St. Mark's for the past ten years. She performs and oversees the financial and personnel reporting, processing and record keeping functions for the church.

Church Administrator; St. Mark's Singers Director

Cath oversees many aspects of the workings of the church, since she came on staff at St. Mark's in June, 2007. If it's for facility use, church records, publications, an appointment with the pastor, and a few other things, she's the one to call.

St. Mark's Singers Accompanist

Peggy has been accompanying the St. Mark's Singers, under the direction of her partner, Cath, since February of 2008.  Peggy began studying piano at age 5 and continued her studies through college, often winning competitions at her church denomination's annual contests. 

If you stop in at Grace Cafe on a Sunday night, you're likely to find Susan, along with 20 or so young people mixed up in some sort of shenanigan.  Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Susan was a St. Mark's kid her whole life.

Facilities Superintendant

Kevin heads the St. Mark's Facility Department, which has four major buildings, two parking lots, a Memorial Garden, playground and a skate board ramp under its care.

Jack serves at St. Mark's as Chancel Choir Director and Organist; he served as consultant in the 2002-2004 installation of the 47 rank Hupalo & Repasky pipe organ built in the symphonic style of Cavaille-Coll.

Publications Specialist

Kevin serves as the publications specialist here at St. Mark's.  He also has been a fixture with our St. Mark's Youth Group for some time now where he cooks and helps to lead small group activities.

Office Assistant

Lori is a native Californian born in Yreka, a small town up in the northern part of the state. Her grandfather was a Methodist minister and all her life, her family was involved in the Methodist church in every community in which they lived.
