Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees supervises and maintains the property that belongs to our Church, so that our congregation can be effective in our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

The Trustees oversee the budget for facility operations and maintenance, including utilities, landscaping, cleaning, insurance, and mortgage payments. We sponsor all-church work days for seasonal weeding and pruning as well as larger maintenance and improvement projects. For 2011, work days are scheduled on March 12, June 18, September 17, November 12, and December 17. Please join us!

The Trustees meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7 PM in room E21, and everyone is welcome to attend. Each guest may have a few minutes near the beginning of the meeting to raise any issue of concern. Good ideas are always welcome. Turning ideas into reality, of course, takes people who invest their precious energy and time as well. We hope you can bring a gift of energy along with your idea. Future meetings in 2011 are scheduled on July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, November 8, and December 1. Meetings in 2012 begin on January 10.

The items on our wish list exceed the present budget but could become reality if you can raise the necessary funds.

Trustees are elected by the charge conference to serve a term of up to 3 years. Many people have served our church as Trustees. The present members are:
