Our preschool was created in 1969 and continues to offer excellent educational opportunities.

The Purpose of St. Mark's Preschool is to provide a loving Christian atmosphere in which preschool children can:

• learn through active participationxperience the use of craft media and sensory materials
• have exposure to an age-appropriate curriculum which incorporates math, science, language and    field trips into the weekly themes
• develop social skills

A Day in the Life of a Preschooler (Sample)

9:00am Children arrive and have free exploration

9:30am Opening Circle Time - songs, calendar, weather, theme for the day

9:45am Outdoor Play Time

10:20am Snack time/quiet book time

11:00am Story time, music and movement

11:15am Project and/or activities in 3 classrooms (6 adults for 24 children)

11:45am Closing Circle Time

12:00noon Dismissal

St. Mark's Preschool is able to offer low tuition through Fundraising. Our Spring Fundraiser - Play Day - is a fun carnival and silent auction. Each year we contribute the profit to the Preschool Budget to help reduce tuition.
