The Sacramento Pride Parade and Festival

Each year members from St. Mark's, both gay and straight, attend Sacramento Pride Parade and Festival. We're committed to show the GLBTI and Sacramento Community that St. Mark's UMC is an open and welcoming place for ALL people.

A growing contingent of affirming and very fun interfaith folks participate in the parade from churches all over the Sacramento area.  St. Mark’s Reconciling Ministries hosts an outreach booth at the festival as way for the GLBTI community to know that there are Christians who love them as they are and will welcome them to this family with arms open wide.  It's an event for which we plan months in advance and look forward to each year.
