Sierra Service Project 2010
Sierra Service Project 2010 teams announced!
In the summer of 2010, St. Mark's will take 2 Sr. High teams to Klamath, CA to work on projects at the Yurok Reservation. The first team will depart on Sunday, July 11 and will return Saturday, July 17 with the second team departing on Sunday, July 25 with a return date of Saturday July 31.
We will also be taking a Jr. High team to Indian Valley to work with the Roundhouse Council. Currently, the Jr. High team is full.
The total cost for the trip, including registration, transportation, meals and supplies is $550 per youth. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration.
Throughout the year, St. Mark's will provide opportunities for youth to earn funds to help offset trip expenses. Ultimately, each youth is responsible for all expenses. Youth and parents will receive earnings statements reflecting the total amount earned towards their total. Any balance not earned through fund raising efforts will be due in full no later than 45 days prior to departure.
