Compassion Village and St. Mark’s

Compassion Village is a new effort in the Sacramento area whereby community churches have gotten together to build tiny homes for the homeless.  St. Mark’s has been active in this effort by building one tiny home and helping develop the first community site located at 2771 Grove Avenue, Sacramento.  There are regularly volunteer days (usually Saturdays) at the Grove avenue site which involve clean up,  building, and gardening.

Wondering what you can do about homelessness in Sacramento?

Come on out to one of the volunteer days, pick up a tool, and let’s get to work.  If you would like more information about St. Mark’s and Compassion Village contact Jeff Adams at afa@surewest.net.
